'21st Century Watercolour'
Art Space artists
Angela Diggle and Lesley Ninnes are delighted to each have had
entries accepted for the Royal Watercolour Society’s Open
Exhibition, ‘21st Century Watercolour’.
Celebrating its
tenth anniversary, the competition encourages innovation in the use
of water-based media on paper, stimulating fresh approaches to what
are considered to be watercolour’s traditional strengths.
Angela and Lesley’s
paintings were among 800 submissions of which approximately 120 were
selected for the show, which commenced with a preview on St
Valentine’s Day, at the prestigious Bankside Gallery, (next to Tate
Modern) London.
The
exhibition continues until Sunday 9 March 2008 and is open daily
from 11am-6pm, admission free.
