Art Space is delighted to welcome its newest member, Petroushka Sura-Field. Originally from Chile, Petroushka works with metal and fused glass to produce panels, sculpture, bowls and highly individual jewellery.

Coast Dining

'Coast Dining' Camden's new seafood restaurant and gallery. A stylish interior, mouth watering menu and a cellar stacked with fine wines.
Family links to St Ives, Cornwall, have been a key inspiration behind the ambition to bring a little piece of the coast to the city and Coast's menu focuses on fresh seafood, such as crab, oysters and fresh fish. Non seafood lovers can choose from vegetarian, chicken and beef dishes.
Stunning paintings and reliefs by artist members of Art Space Gallery, St Ives, all of which are for sale, are displayed throughout. Click 'Coast images slide show' (left hand sidebar) to see paintings exhibited at 'Coast'.

Art Space Gallery celebrates ten years from its launch on March 25, 2000. The founder members of Art Space all originated from the St Ives women’s artist group called ‘Taking Space’. This was and still is a group of women artists who exhibit together around Cornwall.
One of the members at that time, Greta Brett, suggested that we should have a permanent gallery of our own as we always seemed to be putting up and taking down exhibitions. Another member, Sue Sefton, organised the lease and formalities, obtaining a small unit in Court Arcade, St Ives. Any member of Taking Space who was interested formed the original group and Art Space Gallery evolved with eight members, opening for business on April 13, 2000.
