Four
years study in fine art led me to consider thoroughly the intangible
beauty in decaying life forms, looking predominantly at the flower
head but drawing parallels with life forms both seen and unseen.
On moving to
Cornwall this research has taken a turn towards growth and decay as
I have watched the changes of elemental effects on the Penwith
Peninsula.
A particular
fascination is the beauty which can be detected in aggressive
changes as the sea takes its toll on the landscape. Both
visual and tactile surface texture is explored through a variety of
media.
